In June 2016 PSL won a competitive tender to manage this course on behalf of Hatfield and Welwyn Garden City Council. It is one of the largest Ropes courses of its kind and attracts general visitors, parties, education visits and corporate customers. The attraction consists of a High Ropes course and a Low Ropes course

Cotswold Country Park and Beach

In March 2017 PSL won a competitive tender to manage the Cotswold Country Park and Beach on behalf of the Cotswold Water Park Trust.

The Country Park and Beach is set within the wider Cotswold Water Park which covers over 40 square miles. PSL has invested heavily in the attraction to broaden the range of activities on offer and improve the customer experience.

There are numerous walking trails throughout the Country Park that connect to the wider water park. Pedestrian access is permitted to these paths – but the use of the beach, swimming areas and other facilities (except catering) are chargeable.

For 2017 Planning Solutions introduced Gift Aid ticket options -when customers buy a Gift Aid park admission, at least 10% of the value of their ticket is a donation to the Cotswold Water Park Trust.

Super Tubing Experience in South Wales

Super Tubing is one of the newest adventure leisure experiences in the UK and the Supertubing experience at the Festival Park in Ebbw Vale, managed by Planning Solutions Ltd, is the longest in the country. Customers sit on a reinforced inflatable tube which is pushed or spun from the top level of the ride created from a special Snowflex material. Then they accelerate down the 120m slope racing friends or colleagues' to see who can finish first.

The National Brewery Centre

Planning Solutions were approached by local action group made up of business, education and political representatives and the site owners Molson Coors. Their objective was to re-open the Molson Coors Visitor Centre (formerly the Bass Museum) that had been closed in 2008, after suffering several years of falling visitor numbers and consequent operational losses.

High & Low Ropes Aerial Adventure East Midlands

Planning Solutions have been managing CONKERS, an environmentally themed visitor attraction, on behalf of The National Forest Charitable Trust, since 2001. Planning Solutions researched a variety of product development opportunities and concluded that a High & Low Aerial Adventure Course would provide the exciting experience necessary to attract these new audiences – and provide a positive return on investment. The new product was also sufficiently different to the traditional CONKERS’ offer that, it was felt it could be charged for as a separate ‘add on adventure’ in addition to the standard day visit ticket price.
