In autumn 2015, Planning Solutions Ltd won a competitive tender, organised by Maidstone Borough Council, to manage their Kent Life attraction for a period of ten years. PSL have agreed to make a considerable financial investment to upgrade to product and service at this attraction.

At Kent Life heritage and family fun sit side by side in 28 acres of beautiful and historic grounds. A real working farm, Kent Life showcases and breeds traditional farm animals and the hands-on cuddle corner is always popular with visitors. Children enjoy indoor and outdoor adventure play areas, donkey rides, land train, tractor rides and much more!

Kent Life is so much more than just a day visit. There’s a host of extra events and entertainment, especially at weekends and during school holidays as well as a comprehensive, curriculum based Schools visit programme of events

The are several different principal attraction elements at Kent Life.

The Kentish gardens:-
‘Stroll through the herb garden, be nosy in the farmhouse gardens, or lose yourself in the hop garden – come and enjoy the array of smells and colours in our Kentish Gardens. Visit the last coal-?red Oast House in the country and stock up here on produce from our very own gardens and orchards.

The Vintage Village:-
‘Acquaint yourselves with the homes and lifestyles of Kent’s rural past, as you visit our recreations of houses and buildings in our Vintage Village. Explore Victorian Petts Farmhouse, World War Two cottages from nearby Lenham and vintage 1950s chic in Sandling Farmhouse. The traditional village hall relocated from Ulcombe is a must see – don’t forget to visit the Blacksmith’s forge and pop into the local shop

Farmyard and Nature:-
‘Come and join us for fun on the farm! Meet our smaller furry and feathered friends in our indoor cuddle corner, explore the farmyard, or get stuck in to our 28 acres of paddocks and ?elds – we’ve got horses, sheep, alpacas, donkeys, goats, pigs and more – all waiting to meet you! ‘

Family Play:-
‘With the outdoor adventure play area and a three storey Indoor Soft Play Barn, there’s plenty of space for the kids to run wild! More family fun comes with daily games and entertainment, land train, donkey rides and other seasonal activities such as water zorbing or the bouncy castle’
